Paramagnetism of potassium

Estimate the contribution of free electron spins to the susceptibility of potassium (Pauli paramagnetism). The density of states at the Fermi energy for potasium is D(EF) = 0.5 (eV atom)-1. There is also a diamagnetic component to the susceptibility of potasium that is about 1/3 the magnitude of the paramagnetic component.

Potassium is bcc with a lattice constant of 0.533 nm.
