Die Folgen des Bürgerkrieges waren spürbar, so dass der als Kurzentrum geplante Bau später in ein Hotel umgewandelt wurde (website -Werkverzeichnis mit Foto). Während meines oftmaligen Besuches in Beirut, auch als Vortragender bei einem Kongress über den Wiederaufbau und an der Amerikanischen Universität, habe ich das Land gut kennengelernt.
Das interessante Projekt für des House of Arts & Culture werde ich meinen libanesischen Freunden zur Kenntnis bringen.
